An urban phenomenon that changed the face of popular music, hip hop has certainly stood the test of time, gaining in popularity while other musical genres have faded away. Of all the emcees to play this special brand of urban music, perhaps the most popular was Eminem. In 1999, Eminem released the Slim Shady LP which automatically catapulted him from his status as a rap star to massive popularity in the mainstream pop world. This, in turn, caused even greater acceptance of hip hop as a musical genre that was here to stay.
Eminem’s lyrics, which cover topics such as poverty and single parenthood, reflect a rough upbringing. Before he had the world singing along to “My Name Is …,” he was Marshall Mathers, a poor kid growing up in Warren, Michigan. As a child, he and his mother moved constantly, staying at relatives’ homes in places as disparate as Warren and Kansas City, Missouri. As a result, Marshall found it difficult to make friends, and he retreated into his comic books and television. When Mathers was 12, his mother finally settled down on the east side of Detroit. There, he attended Lincoln Junior High School and Osbourne High School, hanging out with friends and listening to artists like LL Cool J and the 2 Live Crew. He competed against other rappers at his high school, and quickly gained a reputation as a gifted rhymer. But his penchant for skipping school led him to fail the ninth grade.
After dropping out of high school, Mathers held down several odd jobs, while continuing to work on his music. He rapped in several groups such as Basement Productions, the New Jacks, and Sole Intent, before deciding to go solo. In 1998, Eminem put out The Slim Shady EP, which contained the original version of “Just Don’t Give A …”. A copy of the album made its way into the hands of Dr. Dre, the legendary creator of The Chronic and N.W.A., and then president of Aftermath Entertainment. Dr. Dre quickly signed Eminem to his label. The Slim Shady LP debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Album Chart and Eminem became a national phenomena.
Today, the rapper retains his large fan base. They revel in all things Eminem, including his favorite drink (Mountain Dew), favorite food (Taco Bell), favorite actor (Denzel Washington) and favorite comic (Chris Rock). Eminem voted for the first time in the 2004 election. He never indicated for whom, but we suspect it wasn’t for a candidate, but for the hip hop music he loved.

If you think your kids are spending too much time playing video games on their Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PC or PSP or Playstation Portable consoles then you may have a reason to be concerned, but not worried. Before you tell your child to put down the game remote and pick up a text book you should consider one fact and that is that there is a professional video game circuit out there with professional gamers who earn thousands, even millions of dollars.

South Korea has a genuine passion for playing video games. This is a video game obsessed nation. The electronic gaming events in this country can draw up to 100,000 spectators at a single event. Their cyber athletes make hundreds of thousands of dollars playing in tournaments that are televised nationwide. Some of them are so popular they cannot go out in public without body guards to shield them from adoring fans. They even date movie stars and get their faces on the covers of newspapers and magazines.

Recently there was an electronic gaming tournament held in Seoul, South Korea at Jamsil Indoor Stadium. This event was the equivalent of our Superbowl. The game of choice for this event was StarCraft, which is a web game that is played on PCs. This event was nationally televised and broadcast on the Internet. The audience of 1.78 million who viewed it on television and online were glued to their seats as they watched the daylong event unfold. They came to watch the most popular gamer in their country strut his stuff.

His name is Lim Yo Hwan, he is 27 years old and he is the Mick Jagger of e-sports in South Korea. This young man has made quite a name for himself playing StarCraft, the only game that matters on the video game circuit in this country. His fans wanted to see him put on a show, and he did, winning the event easily with a take home prize of $20,000. Lim Yo Hwan has won many of these events in recent years and this has put his income in the six figure category. Not bad for playing video games.

The United States has some Superstar cyber athletes too who make a very good living on the electronic gaming circuit. The brightest star in this country is a 26 year old man named Johnathan Wendel, otherwise known to his fans as Fatal1ty, which is his screen name. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri but his reputation lives all over the world.

Johnathan became a professional gamer at the age of 19, and in the past seven years he has won 41 major eSports video game tournaments. He has won more electronic gaming competitions than anyone else in America. Johnathan has also done very well financially, winning over $450,000 in prize money.

Johnathan Wendel has traveled all over the world playing in video game tournaments. To date he has played on every continent except Antarctica. These tournaments have been held at some very interesting, unique and famous places including the Great Wall Of China and Red Square in Moscow, so the idea of holding one in Antarctica some day may be not be so far fetched.

Everywhere Johnathan goes he is swarmed by fans who just love the way he plays video games. All of his expenses are paid when he travels and he lives like a rock star. With world championships in five different video games, Johnathan is considered by most in his sport to be the best in the world. No other gamer has even come close to matching his accomplishments.

In November of 2006 Johnathan Wendel defeated his biggest nemesis and won the world championship for his fifth video game, PainKiller, and in doing so he took home a prize check for $150,000. He defeated the reigning world champion for that game, a 20 year old man from Holland that goes by the screen name Vo0.

Johnathan is becoming more and more popular every day as he continues to shine as a Superstar in the world of professional gamers. He is a force to be reckoned with in the Cyberathlete Professional League. He has recently launched a line of Fatal1ty products that include such things as mouse pads, headsets and keyboards that are made specifically for playing video games. He has a marketing Guru named Mark Walden working with him and both expect to make millions of dollars selling these products to gamers worldwide.

The video gaming industry is expected to make $30 billion dollars this year selling video games and consoles for products like Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP. This is an enormous amount of money that is more than twice the yearly grosses of the NBA, NFL and Major League Baseball combined. With this kind of money involved and hundreds of millions of people playing video games all over the world the sport of professional video gaming is starting to attract major advertising sponsors and merchandising companies.

Professional video gamers are no longer just kids who are wasting their time spending endless hours playing video games. Many of them have managed to transform a hobby into a lucrative career. There are hundred of thousands, and even millions of dollars being made these days by gamers who travel the world all expenses paid and live like rock stars.

So the next time you think your child is spending too much time playing Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC or PSP games you should not worry too much. If they show more than the average amount of interest in the sport of electronic gaming, try not to discourage them from playing video games. It is important for you to realize that they may not just be playing games when they sit down in front of their television or computer, they could also be training to be a world famous cyber athlete millionaire.

The Kansas City Chiefs begin the Herman Edwards era on Sunday at Arrowhead when they welcome the ferocious Cincinnati Bengals and this could be the start of a very long season for Trent Green and his mates.

When handicapping a team my first inclination is too look for an experienced offensive line that can run the ball and keep the quarterback vertical. In Kansas City this has been their strength with Roaf, Shields, Waters, Wiegmann, and Welbourn, but you can remove the bookend tackles Roaf and Welbourn who both retired.

Replacing Roaf is Kyle Turley who has not played since 2003 and is 25 pounds under his playing weight at that time. Replacing Welbourn is Kevin Sampson who was drafted in 2004 and has played a total of 2 games.

The Chiefs have an emerging superstar in Larry Johnson at running back, but he will not have the luxury of experienced fullback Tony Richardson who has moved on and this will certainly cause problems. So before you do any football betting on Johnson, I advise you to research the odds at your favorite sportsbook. His replacement Ronnie Cruz was undrafted and played at some school called Northern State.

KC will not have the luxury of turning to Priest Holmes, as he is battling career threatening injuries, so if Johnson goes down, Michael Bennett is average at best.

Now we all know that Trent Green has been a durable machine in Missouri, but if he goes down, things get very dicey.

Damon Huard, who is 33 and hasn’t completed an NFL pass since the 2000 season is the backup, and this is not good.

The defensive side of the ball has always been the Chiefs’ Achilles heel and I don’t see this changing much. Bringing over Ty Law and Patrick Surtain was a mistake and the line has gone through too many changes. Their strength is at linebacker with Mitchell, Johnson, and Bell, but that is not enough.

Arrowhead Stadium can be loud and raucous, but the Bengals will quickly bring them down to a dull roar come Sunday afternoon!

Last week I received a message from the friends network in which I’m enrolled. It was an advisory to stay out of an opportunity that might be coming my way. I had seen a number of these “opportunities” earlier on the web. The description that my friend provided me did not surprise me.

The “deal” involved my signing up for free. Google Autofill would provide the guts of my name and address lines. All I had to do was enter a user name and password. I elected not to proceed any further.

Here is what would have happened. The scam entrepreneur would have captured my name, address, city/state/zip code, e-mail address, verify e-mail address, user id, password, verify password, home phone, work phone, and cell phone. I would be classed as an opt-in lead. Since I was signing up as a member, it would all be free. I would not have to pay a cent to join.

However, it’s no fun being just a plain member. Of course, I would get tons of information for my free membership. Most of all, I would get hype about upgrading to Gold or Platinum. For $39.95 a month to upgrade to a Platinum member, I could now enroll other poor suckers to their free membership. I would get paid for every signup that subsequently upgraded to Platinum. This would go at least seven, maybe ten levels down. By God, by golly, all my dreams would come true. I would finally become a millionaire.

Never mind the financial side of things. If I were to upgrade to being a platinum member, the entrepreneur would take care of it. Each month, my commissions will post to my PayPal account. I would just have to look for my e-mail that would say, “You Have Money!”

Let’s look at what would happen if I persuaded you to sign up, and if you chose to upgrade. I’ll play the role of the scam entrepreneur. You’ll be the victim.

More often than not, you will go through many months where not one of your signups will upgrade. Without upgrades, there can be no commissions. You become very concerned over this. All your phone calls to your upline sponsor (that would be me) do not get returned. You learn that you do not even have a valid phone contact to your entrepreneur. In your haste to sign up, you never made a note of that phone number.

In the meantime, your PayPal account gets depleted. When PayPal does not have any funds, it will debit your credit card, checking, or savings account to get the debit paid. PayPal is not in business to lose any money, especially on your transactions that have gone sour. You can go to state or Federal sources for help. Here, you will realize that the sky has fallen in on you if you have invested in an offshore financial deal.

Scam artists will do anything to gain your trust, in order to entice you to invest in their schemes. They may make promises of huge profits from investing in offshore markets. Scam artists may even guarantee you the returns to give you a sense of security. They are aware of the large amounts of money you pay in federal and state taxes and your frustration with earning low returns. They will pretend to share your opinions, and sympathize with your frustration.

In one example, investment seminars approached farmers in Missouri and Kansas about offshore investment opportunities. These “deals” guaranteed returns of 15%. One potential investor was told that large Canadian banks use depositors’ money to invest in these same offshore markets for their own profits.
When someone offers you a “deal” whose returns are more than the going rate, there is high chance that you will lose your money. There are several red flags that will tell you that a rat is lurking under the woodpile when evaluating investment opportunities:

1.	Offshore investment opportunities. Once you send your money out of your state, province, or out of your country, you lose any protection provided by law. Frauds and scams frequently involve an offshore institution to make it more difficult to trace the transactions. Once your money is in someone else’s control you may never get it back.

2.	Unsubstantiated guarantees. A guarantee is only as good as the guarantor. You should check Dun and Bradstreet to see about the guarantor’s credit rating. If the scam entrepreneur can borrow money from the bank at 8% and invest it at 15%, why is this person willing to pay you 15% on your money? This is a clear signal he needs you to lend him money because his credit is so bad the banks will not lend him anything other than a sneeze.

3.	High return and low risk. The higher is the promised return on your investment, the greater is the risk. If you think that a guarantee lowers your risk, read the line about unsubstantiated guarantees.

Here is how you can protect your money:

1.	Be wary of investment opportunities that offer guaranteed high returns and low risk. The old adage about your proposed investment being too good to be true is a wise saying.

2.	Check out the investment opportunity, and the registration of the person or company offering you the investment. You may find one or two ugly surprises. However, if your pie in the sky gets broken, it is better than you ending up with egg on your face and an empty bank account.

3.	Have a trusted professional, such as your financial adviser, lawyer or accountant evaluate any investment opportunity. This is far better than responding to hype that you hear pitched over the telephone or at an investment seminar.

For further information or to file a complaint, contact a Securities Commission near you, or any of the following institutions:

A charter franchise in the American Basketball Association, the team was originally slated to play in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Denver. They were named the Denver Larks before they changed their name and became known as the Rockets for their first seven years of existence, winning division titles in 1970 and 1975. The name “Rockets” was derived from the Rocket Trucking Company, owned by the team’s owner and having the same colors (orange and black).

However, they tended to struggle in the postseason and failed to make a championship game during this span. They had a solid lineup led by Byron Beck and Larry Jones, then later by Beck and Ralph Simpson. During the 1969-70 season, the team also had controversial rookie Spencer Haywood. Haywood was one of the first players try to turn pro before graduating from college, and the NBA initially refused to let him play in the league. Haywood averaged 30 points in his only ABA season, then was allowed to sign with the Seattle SuperSonics to start a productive NBA career.

In 1974, in hopes of moving into the NBA, a contest was held to find a new nickname for the Rockets, as the nickname was already used by the Houston Rockets. The name Nuggets won, having been the nickname first used by the Denver 1949-50 NBA franchise. Their new logo was a miner holding an ABA ball.

With the drafting and signing of David Thompson and Marvin Webster and the acquisitions of Dan Issel and Bobby Jones and with Larry Brown coaching, they had their best seasons in team history in their first two seasons as the Nuggets, with the team making the ABA finals in 1975-76. They would get no second chance to win a league championship, as the ABA folded after the 1975-76 season. The Nuggets were one of four ABA teams taken into the NBA, along with the New York Nets, San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers. The Nuggets and Nets had actually applied to join the NBA in 1975, but were forced to stay in the ABA by court order.

The Nuggets continued their strong play early on in the NBA, as they won division titles in their first two seasons in the league, and missed a third by a single game. However, neither of these teams was ultimately successful in the postseason.

Brown left the team in 1979, helping usher in a brief decline in their team’s performance. It ended in 1981, when they hired Doug Moe as a head coach. Moe brought with him a “run and gun” philosophy, a style of play focusing on attempting to score rapidly with little interest in defense, and it helped the team become highly competitive. During the 1980s, the Nuggets would often score in excess of 115 points a game, and during the 1981-82 season, they scored at least 100 points in every game.

Anchored by scoring machines Alex English and Kiki Vandeweghe at the two forward spots, Denver led the league in scoring, with English and Vandeweghe both averaging above 25 points per game. It was a novel strategy, allowing the Nuggets to top the Midwest Division and qualify for the playoffs during that span. (On December 13, 1983, the Nuggets and the visiting Detroit Pistons combined for an NBA record 370 points, with Detroit winning in triple overtime, 186-184.) In 1984-85, they made it to the Western Conference finals after being perennial playoff contenders, and they lost in five games to the Los Angeles Lakers. Vandeweghe was traded before the 1984-85 season to the Portland Trailblazers for 6-3 rebounding guard Fat Lever, undersized power forward Calvin Natt and center Wayne Cooper. Spearheaded by English and supported by the three new acquisitions and defensive specialists Bill Hanzlik and TR Dunn, the team replicated its success in the Western Conference despite the loss of Vandeweghe. However, they could not get pass the dominant team of the era, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Moe left the team in 1990, and his departure ended their run as a competitive franchise. However, the “run and gun” philosophy continued with coach Paul Westhead at the helm. He gave the green light for players like Michael Adams and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf to light up the scoreboards within seconds of possession. This lead to even more scoring records, but that did not translate into wins as Denver was the worst team in terms of number of wins for two consecutive seasons. That record enabled them to land at the lottery and draft 7-2 Georgetown University center Dikembe Mutombo in 1992, and University of Michigan guard Jalen Rose the next year. These two would lead the team into a brief resurgence in 1993-94 (a year they ditched their rainbow colors for a dark blue and gold scheme) finishing 42-40 and stunning the top-seeded Supersonics in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, falling to the Utah Jazz in game seven of the second round, but it was a rare highlight following Moe’s departure. The Nuggets were swept in the following year by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs. Denver was an also-ran for nearly a decade, and flirted with having the worst record NBA history in 1997-98, winning only 11 games in an 82 game season. They tied for the worst record in the NBA in 2002-03 with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The team has shown signs of another renaissance for the 2003-04 season, with the drafting of Carmelo Anthony and yet another uniform change (powder blue and yellow). In just two months of the season, they recorded more wins than they had in 5½ months of play in 2002-03. Much of the reason for this incredible turnaround were the front-office moves of General Manager Kiki Vandeweghe a former Nuggets player who assumed General Manager duties August 9, 2001, adding crucial personnel including: point guard Andre Miller, power forward Nenê, point guard Earl Boykins, center Marcus Camby and shooting guard Jon Barry. In April, the turnaround was complete as they became the first franchise in NBA history to qualify for the postseason following a sub-20-win campaign the previous year. They were eliminated in the first round four games to one by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On December 28, 2004, head coach Jeff Bzdelik was fired from the organization and replaced by interim coach, former Los Angeles Laker player and Los Angeles Sparks head coach Michael Cooper, before finally hiring veteran coach George Karl as a permanent replacement. Karl lived up to his reputation by leading the team to an astounding record of 32-8 in the second half of the regular season which vaulted the team into the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

In the playoffs, however, the Nuggets could not survive the powerhouse defense of Manu Ginobili and the San Antonio Spurs. After winning game one in San Antonio, the Nuggets proceeded to lose the next four games and lost the series 4-1. The Nuggets picked 20th in the 2005 NBA Draft; it was acquired from Washington via Orlando.

In 2005-06, for the first time in 18 years, the club won the Northwest division title. This placed the team in the third seed of the Western Conference playoffs. Due to their relatively weak record the Nuggets were forced to play the Los Angeles Clippers who, despite their 6th seeding, had a better record following a great season behind their NBA Most Valuable Player Award candidate Elton Brand. Based on their regular season records the LA Clippers received home court advantage. The first two games in the best-of-7 series were won by the Clippers 89-87 in game one and 109-101 for game two in LA. Game 3 was won by the Denver Nuggets in Denver 98-87. The Clippers went on to win the final two games and advance to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs for the first time in franchise history since the Clippers moved to L.A. for the 1984-85 season.

On, December 18, 2006, team co-captain, Carmelo Anthony, shooting guard J.R. Smith, and power forward Nene were suspended by the NBA (15, 10, and 1 games respectively) for a fight that occurred in the last two minutes of a game against the New York Knicks two days earlier. The fight was sparked by Knicks rookie Mardy Collins, when he tackled J.R. Smith on a breakaway layup. According to Anthony, Knicks coach Isiah Thomas warned him to not go in the paint shortly before the hard foul.

On December 19, 2006, the Nuggets traded Joe Smith, Andre Miller, and two first-round draft picks in the 2007 draft to the Philadelphia 76ers for players Allen Iverson and Ivan McFarlin (McFarlin was waived immediately following the trade’s approval), thus landing the Nuggets the top two scorers in the league in Anthony and Iverson. On January 11, 2007, Earl Boykins, Julius Hodge, and cash considerations were traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for point guard Steve Blake.

The twins of Minnesota are an important team of baseball of league based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The team inherited the existence in the year 1894, concession like Kansas City, Missouri in the minor Western league. In 1900 the team moved in Washington, C.C when this league became the American league. Byron “prohibition” Johnson, president of the Western league, changed the name into American league in 1900 and the principal statute of league was allotted one year afterwards. The twins of Minnesota reached the finales three times of 1961 to 1970, during first years of the concession the 10.

For sometime now, I have written about the problems within the St. Louis schools. They have been “provisionally accredited” for several years now and are facing being unaccredited in less than three years.

The St. Louis Schools is Missouri’s largest public school system with 37,000 students. For the past several and consecutive years, they have received unacceptable ratings from the state, meaning the St. Louis schools’ students have received a less than adequate education.

Peter Herschend, president of the State Board of Education, stated recently at the Missouri School Boards Association’s annual legislative conference that the primary problem is not ineffective teachers. He noted that a crisis has existed for many years in the St. Louis schools’ leadership or the lack thereof. Along with Kansas City, St. Louis is a key player in the economics of the state. Undereducated high school graduates will soon begin to affect the state’s economy and businesses.

In less than three years, Herschend and his board will be asked to determine the accreditation status for the St. Louis schools, and unaccredited looks to be the outcome. According to state law, if the St. Louis schools is unaccredited for two consecutive years, it could be taken over by the state. According to a 1998 state law, the state board could take over even sooner, without waiting for the two-year unaccredited period to pass.

Herschend told conference participants that the State Board faces three choices regarding the St. Louis schools:

•	Do nothing and allow the status quo to continue, which would be unacceptable;

•	Form an advisory board that would make recommendations to the existing board of the St. Louis schools; the advisory board would have no power to enforce its recommendations; or

•	Form a three-member transition board, which would assume all powers over the St. Louis schools; the current elected board would operate in an advisory capacity only with powers or authority.

Also present at the conference was Maida Coleman, state Senate Minority Leader and Democrat representing the St. Louis area. She believes the St. Louis schools are being singled out, since 12 other school districts within the state also are failing. Eleven of these are performing as poorly as the St. Louis schools, according to Coleman.

Herschend answered Coleman’s allegation of unfair treatment for the St. Louis schools, stating that all districts are treated equally on the same standards — no exceptions.

Many others involved at the state and local levels cite inadequate budgets as the primary problem, with the St. Louis schools barely breaking even and an expected $20 million in the red by July 2007. No school district can last long without control of their finances, especially one as large as the St. Louis schools.

Whatever happens, it will require some real work, knowledge and skills to correct the problem. In the meantime, it is the students of the St. Louis schools who must suffer the brunt of this issue. An inadequate education can affect them for the rest of their lives.

Barbecue is also known as BBQ and is considered a diminutive of Barbie. Etymologists hold that the word was derived from barbacoa, a word in the language of the Taino tribe in the Caribbean. The word meant ësacred fire pití in Taino language. Barbecue is a special method of cooking, with the direct heat of fire from hot coals, smoking wood, and charcoal. Traditional barbacoa is done by digging a pit in the ground and placing a full goat in a pot at the bottom. The pot is covered with coal and maguey leaves and set fire. The meat is allowed to cook for a few hours. Usually the meat is applied with spice rub, marinade, or basting sauce. Such traditional barbecue is cooked in an outdoor environment. However, bbq catering in restaurants are done by cooking in large metal or brick ovens.

There is difference of opinion about the actual process of barbecue, with some communities considering all direct and indirect heating as bbq. Others hold only indirect heating as barbecue and direct heating methods as grilling. Still, it could be safely concluded that grilling is generally a fast method of cooking with direct heating. On the other hand, bbq is a slow process, with the method having heating that is more indirect. It is believed that the slower method of barbecue cooking makes the tough meat to become tender and breaks down the collagen present in the meat, making meat eating much easier.

Nowadays, barbecue catering includes all types of outdoor social gatherings with serving of food. Every year, the American Royal Barbecue Contest is conducted in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2007, the open contest for the barbeque championship attracted around 496 teams. Another barbecue competition is held in May in Memphis, Tennessee, termed as the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.

Barbecue catering service had been steadily gaining popularity all over the world. Outdoor bbq catering had become the norm for many social gatherings and individual celebrations. It is believed that barbecuing is a healthier food choice and more people are turning to bbq cooking or bbq catering service to eat healthy food. Turkey is a good protein option, with a 3-ounce serving of skinless, boneless turkey breast containing 26 grams of protein and one gram of fat. The barbecued turkey contains no saturated fat at all.

According to the US Census Board, Iowa supplies about one-fourth of the total pork sausage and hot pork dog in the United States. One-sixth of the cattle and calves production is met by Texas. Broiler chickens predominantly arrive from Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and North Carolina. Takeout food is increasing in popularity with nine out of ten family-dining eateries providing the option of takeout food. Even 75% of high-priced fine-dining restaurants are offering takeout food. Even in households, it is believed that nearly 81% own a grill, which is used at least once a week. As such, bbq catering service appears to be the future leader in eating habits.

10. Casino Queen RV Park. This spot is more of a camping ground. It will help you get a feel of doing activities associated with camping as well as leading you to the wondrous sights in the area. While in St. Louis, never miss the chance to enjoy all the fun that goes well with camping.

Many families in Missouri are choosing to obtain vehicle title loans this holiday.

Is this a good idea?

It can be just as long as they get one without a high interest rate and pay it off within a month. If they’re even one day late, they can be charged for extremely high fees. The countless vehicle title loan lenders in and around Kansas City, MO charge a variety of different interest rates. The rate of interest can be anywhere from 22%-25%, especially in Kansas City area.

So how much money are the families borrowing?

It really depends on the value of their vehicle, and whether or not it’s clear of any liens. If the owners can prove that they’re really the title owners, and if the car or other vehicle is new, they can borrow quite a bit. They’ll then have anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to pay back on the vehicle title loan.

It’s very important that the borrower pays back on the loan as soon as possible. Even a small loan can end up costing the borrower more money than the vehicle is worth if they have problems paying on it!

If you’re interested in getting a vehicle title loan, make sure that your finances will be stable within the next several weeks so that you can easily pay it back. Do your research online to find out what Missouri lenders will offer you the best deal. Many other states offer vehicle title loans as well.

If you need some extra cash for the holiday season this year, an auto title loan may be the answer that you’re looking for. However, make sure you’re aware of all your options and that you’ll be able to afford to pay it back. It’s extra cash, but it’s not for free.
